Privacy Policy

This policy covers the KamperHub Store (shop.kamperhub.com), operated by Scott Carlton trading as KamperHub ("we", "us", "our"). It explains what we collect when you browse and buy, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Our main privacy policy covers the KamperHub trip-planning app and website.

1. Your orders

At checkout, Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and payment details. We keep your name, email address, phone number and delivery address with the order so we can deliver it, keep you updated and handle returns. We do not keep your card details; Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

We give your name, delivery address and phone number to our supplier, Dropshipzone (Australia), so they can send your order. If you are signed in, we link your orders to your account so that My Orders can show them. We email you about your order, for example when it ships.

2. Our own visit records

The shop keeps its own simple records: the page address, where you came from, your country, your browser type, and a scrambled visitor code made from your IP address and browser details. We do not store your IP address in these records. We also record what you click, add to your cart or start checkout on. If you are signed in, we link these records to your account. We use them to see which products and pages people use.

3. Google services on our shop

Google tags. Our shop uses the Google tag, which connects it to Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. Google may place and read cookies in your browser, and may use web beacons or similar technologies, when you visit the shop. Through these, Google receives the pages you view (page addresses can include words you searched for), the page you came from, your IP address and details of your browser and device.

We also send Google these shop actions: viewing a product (its name, ID and price), adding a product to your cart (the product, quantity and price), starting checkout (your cart total), and completing a purchase (the order total, the currency and an order reference number). This means Google may receive information about transactions made on our shop. We use this to understand how the shop is used and to measure whether Google ads lead to purchases. Personalised advertising is switched off in our Google Analytics property.

The tag does not send your name, email address, phone number, delivery address or payment details to Google. The only exception is Google Customer Reviews, below, which happens only if you choose it.

Google Customer Reviews. After you pay, the order confirmation page may show a tick box asking whether you would like Google to email you a short survey about your order. It stays unticked unless you tick it. If you tick it, we send Google your order number, email address, delivery country and the estimated delivery date. Google may then email you a survey once your order is due to arrive, and may place and read cookies or use similar technologies in connection with the survey. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy. If you leave the box unticked, we do not send Google your email address or delivery details for this purpose.

Google product feed. We send Google, through Google Merchant Center, a feed of our products: names, descriptions, images, prices, shipping costs, availability, brand and weight. It contains no customer information.

4. Managing cookies and your options

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop parts of the shop working, such as staying signed in. To control how Google uses information for advertising, use Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. To stop Google Analytics collecting data about your visits, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The shop has no cookie banner or on-site opt-out switch, so these browser and Google settings are your options.

5. Other companies we use

Stripe and Google are overseas companies and may handle information outside Australia. Dropshipzone is an Australian supplier.
